Hevva! Cornish Sardines

Cornish-landed sardines, tinned close to where they're caught by British producer Hevva!. Proof that the sardine tin tradition isn't only a Portuguese or Spanish one. The sardines are dry-cured with salt and brown sugar, then packed in rapeseed oil with smoked paprika and black pepper, prepared at Hevva!'s cannery in Bude, Cornwall. Hevva! takes its name from the cry once raised on the Cornish coast when a shoal of pilchards was sighted, signalling fishermen to launch their boats.
