Small sardines packed in a spiced tomato sauce modelled on the classic brava sauce. Smoky, gently hot, and a step up in heat from most tinned tomato sardines. The sardines petingas, or small sardines, hand-packed one by one and bathed in a brava sauce of tomato, olive oil and piri-piri. Thia recipe won the Specialty Food Association's Sofi Award for Best New Seafood Product in 2023.
